Nowadays, really in the last year or two, many new
technologies have evolved that allow one to view television or movie content.
Some people download or view on-line the latest movies -- either legally or
illegally. Amazon now offers Video On Demand (VOD) which allows you to
legally view or download popular movies and your favorite episodes of many TV Shows.
You can watch VOD right on your PC screen or on your TV Set.

Series and Multi-Season Sets are most popular both for gift giving as well as
for fans to cherish. Downloading an entire series episode by episode is not for
everyone -- and certainly not for us!
The
packaging is secure and attractive. It's easy to identify each title in
your DVD rack. Quite often you'll get a neat booklet about the DVD Set's
contents that you cannot get any other way.
Where else can you get "Easter
Eggs" all year? Easter Eggs is a term describing special bonuses available
on all manner of software, including DVD Sets. It's often an open secret, but
DVD Boxed Sets will contain additional material you'll never see on the TV Show
or Movie itself. These bonuses often include "outtakes", bloopers,
alternate endings, interviews with the cast about their experiences on the
series or film, video footage about how the series or movie was made. Often the
"secrets" to how exciting, white-knuckle scenes (hero or heroine
jumping into the villain's airplane in mid-air)
were staged are revealed. All things you would never be privy to as an
"ordinary viewer".

Being in the business of marketing a lot of
TV Series for Amazon, it's imperative that we keep up on the latest seasons
released to DVD. It's rather embarrassing to realize that Season 7 of a TV
Series has been out for 2 months and we're not featuring it on our sites.
We often see competitors' sites that promise every season of a series we know
has only had perhaps the first 3 seasons released to DVD. However when we look
at these incredulous offers, something always seems a bit amiss. Invariably,
they are not the production studio's releases. Perhaps they are coming from
another country, one that does not respect intellectual property rights, perhaps
they are "homemade", but there is always something in the fine print
that tells us these are not the official releases. In our opinion, you are
taking your chances with a lot of these dubious offers. If it has been officially
released, Amazon has it.
Of course, we're not perfect and do sometimes fail to realize a new season of a TV
Series has been released. So feel free to double check us by keeping tabs on
